We found a perfect house, to retreat to, on the Abruzzo Reality website. Work commitments at the time meant that we couldn’t travel to see the house for several months. During this time, Tracey was in regular contact, gave us lots of useful information and was willing to arrange a viewing for us.

As a buyer of real estate, I tend to do my research and proceed with great caution always testing the situation from a number of angles. Tracey listened to our criteria completely and some of the things we were asking for weren’t easy to come by in the city we chose - Penne - but after searching on our behalf, we have now taken possession of our beautiful new Italian apartment!  Tracey and Vincenzo organised all the legal work for us too, so all we needed to do was to arrive at the Notary office and sign a few documents. I and my husband were thinking about buying a house or an apartment in Italy. While searching for our dream house in Italy, we “shortlisted” a long list of about 30 houses in various parts of Abruzzo. Buying a house in Italy has been an almost life long dream for us and was one that we never expected to come true. We decided that we might be able to buy in April as a result of the very favourable exchange rate and we immediately found Abruzzo Reality and a number of houses we were interested in. I cannot rate Abruzzo Reality highly enough. We were very fussy buyers!! After struggling to buy a house in Abruzzo for over a year, Abruzzo Reality made it happen for us. After searching for 3.5 years and meetings with many brokers, we can safely say to have some experience. The meeting with Tracey and Vincenzo felt right from the first moment. Tracey made buying a property in Abruzzo a quicker and easier process than buying property in the UK. We viewed in July and moved in November. She arranged appropriate viewings and was prepared to drive us to several properties with return visits when required. We had a house in Penne for 11 years, and during all of that time Tracey looked after the house for us. Checking for mail, paying bills, taking delivery of furniture, finding tradesmen and acting as an interpreter for us, arranging for the boiler to be serviced etc

We have had a small country property near Penne in Abruzzo for eight years now, but decided to try letting the house for holiday rentals, for the weeks we were not using it ourselves. We were given contact details for Tracey’s property management services, as someone who could arrange everything for us in our absence. We did just that and have never looked back!

Tracey takes care of everything from advertising the property, dealing with all enquiries and looking after guests once they arrive. She organizes the cleaning, laundry and provides a first point of contact for guests during their stay, should they have any problem or enquiries. We have known Tracey and Pete for several years as our right hand people in the Abruzzo.
