Once you have bought your house, you may feel a little bewildered at first, until you get used to the new culture, unfamiliar systems and meet your new neighbours and the local people (who will, by the way, welcome you with open arms and endless supplies of locally grown produce).  We won't abandon you at this important stage.  We will be there to help you integrate and get used to your new home and its surroundings.  We may even be one of your new neighbours but, if not, we will always be close by for you.

We will help you with all aspects of daily life here in Italy, which may seem complicated and strange at first.  Such as, payments of local taxes and utility bills required at the local post office, often accompanied by lengthy and unfamiliar forms. Even simple procedures, like arranging for your telephone line to be connected, can take some time, and can be difficult to arrange, especially if you are not here in Abruzzo. We can advise on all aspects of living here, even down to where to buy local wine and other produce.

For those of you who won't be living full-time in Abruzzo, we provide comprehensive property management services, with responsive communication by phone or email, a simple hourly charging structure, and regular written statements, we can be your vital link to your Italian property.

RENOVATION SERVICES

Whether you have chosen a property that just needs a lick of paint or a new bathroom, or you have decided to completely renovate a 'rustico' or buy a plot of land and build from scratch, you can put your trust in our team of local, competent and reliable craftsmen. We use local electricians, plumbers, builders and geometras, so that they are always on hand if you need them. Our recommended geometra has lived in our local town of Elice all his life and works for a local comune as well as having his own private company, with his wife, an architect.  If you embark on a project, he will take time to understand your requirements, before drawing up the designs.  He will present your project to the comune for approval and then oversee the whole restoration process, until the property is ready for you to enjoy. We work closely with him whilst you are not here, keeping you informed of progress and sending you photos. 

COURIER/REMOVALS SERVICE

If you are planning to move into your new home, or at least want to ship some items to it, we recommend a local company called 'Van2Europe'. We've been using Tracey's property management service for almost 10 years now and don't know how we would have managed without her.  Living in the U.S. and visiting only once or twice a year, we've needed to rely on Tracey to manage repairs, take care of bills and coordinate all aspects of renting our little house.  It's a relief to not need to worry about things and just be able to relax and enjoy ourselves when we visit.  Most importantly, everything is handled in a pleasant and congenial manner.  I couldn't recommend her more highly.

We have had a small country property near Penne in Abruzzo for eight years now, but decided to try letting the house for holiday rentals, for the weeks we were not using it ourselves. We were given contact details for Tracey’s property management services, as someone who could arrange everything for us in our absence. We did just that and have never looked back!

Tracey takes care of everything from advertising the property, dealing with all enquiries and looking after guests once they arrive. She organizes the cleaning, laundry and provides a first point of contact for guests during their stay, should they have any problem or enquiries. She provides an excellent service and with great inter personal skills, is easy to deal with.

Our project has been a great success with a good number of bookings and some very happy guests! We cannot recommend Tracey’s property management services too highly!

We had a house in Penne for 11 years, and during all of that time Tracey looked after the house for us. Checking for mail, paying bills, taking delivery of furniture, finding tradesmen and acting as an interpreter for us, arranging for the boiler to be serviced etc

We let the house for a short time, and Tracey met our guests and organized the cleaning in between bookings. It really would have been impossible for us to have managed without her, and we trusted her completely.

Tracey also found a buyer for our house, and helped us through the selling process. Tracey has been a huge help to us, and we can highly recommend her services.

We first met Tracey and Pete in 2007 when we started our search for our holiday home and, 8 years on, we can honestly say that they have supported us every step of the way and we have no hesitation in recommending them to assist you in finding your home, steering you through the buying process and managing your property.  The house is spotless when we arrive for our holiday and the garden is tidy.  We know that we can trust everything to be done on time and that gives us great peace of mind.  Over the years we have had builders, plumbers, electricians, painters and decorators working at our house, renovating and maintaining the property and Tracey has been invaluable sorting everything out for us, without any fuss and keeping us informed.

Bills are paid on time, any queries are dealt with efficiently and if we have guests staying at the house, Tracey and Pete meet and greet them.  We know that we can ask for any shopping or any errands to be done at any time.  Really cannot fault the service that they provide.  

We have known Tracey and Pete for several years as our right hand people in the Abruzzo. It would have proved extremely difficult if not impossible to manage renovations and ongoing work to our holiday home without them. Tracey has been consistently diligent, efficient and organized in her work, whether it be getting plumbers and builders in and overseeing work done, paying bills or managing holiday guest requests, changeovers, trips to and from the airport, with Pete doing gardening, maintenance and painting. They are always willing, always quick to respond via email or phone, with plenty of initiative and suggestions.

We cannot recommend them highly enough. You will not regret your decision should you choose them …we certainly never have and count them now as friends as well.

We have been so lucky, throughout the time since we bought our house in Abruzzo in 2005, to have Tracey checking the house and looking after things for us. I’m not sure how we would have managed without her.
It was therefore not a difficult decision to ask Tracey to look after marketing and selling the house for us.
All her advice on pricing and the market rang true and proved to be supported by market conditions when we sold last summer.
Tracey then looked after all the administration work involved in the sale, with all the bureaucracy that entails, with her customary efficiency, patience and good humour.
Nothing was too much trouble, and the sale went through in the planned timescale without setback. She also acted as our power of attorney so that we didn’t have to attend the final signing, as we would have found it too upsetting!
